What are affiliate links?
Some links on Steal The Deal are affiliate links. This means if you click on a link and make a purchase, we may receive a small commission from the retailer. The price you pay is exactly the same — sometimes you'll even get a better deal through our link than going direct.
Which links are affiliate links?
All "Steal This Deal" buttons and deal links are affiliate links. These are clearly marked with an #ad indicator on every deal card, as required by the UK Competition and Markets Authority (CMA).
Does this affect our recommendations?
No. Shiny's job is to find genuinely brilliant deals — that's the whole point. We only feature deals we believe are actually worth your money. A bad recommendation helps nobody, and trust is more valuable than commission.
We do not accept payment to feature specific deals, and merchants cannot pay to be promoted. Every deal on this site is here because Shiny thinks it's a steal.
UK regulations
Steal The Deal complies with the UK CMA guidelines on affiliate marketing and the ASA's CAP Code. All advertising content is clearly labelled. If you have any concerns, please contact us.
